Description
Decorative handmade non-functional ceramic egg by Peter. Wheel thrown in 2021 from grey stoneware clay to a very approximate hollow egg shape and hand-burnished before being pit-fired. The finished egg includes blacks, smokey greys, and brown colors. Unfortunately, the clay suffered some firing damage that exposed inner layers of clay. These have been decorated with gold to give a unique and finished appearance. The egg is approximately 2.75 inches tall by 2.5 wide at its widest point. The egg is rounded at both ends and will lay on its side or stand upright. It's an ideal gift for an egg collector, for easter, or for anyone in need of a unique paperweight.
