Description
Decorative handmade non-functional ceramic egg by Peter. Wheel thrown in 2021 from grey stoneware clay to an approximate hollow egg shape, hand-burnished, and wrapped in copper wire before being pit-fired. During the throwing process, small clay beads were added giving the egg a rattle when shaken (although not suitable for use as a toy, or by a baby or minor). The finished egg includes reds, blacks, smokey greys, and brown colors with a unique zig-zag impression across the top of the egg. The egg is approximately 4.5 inches tall by 3.25 wide at its widest point. The egg is rounded at both ends and will lay on its side or stand upright. It's an ideal gift for an egg collector, for easter, or for anyone in need of a paperweight.
