Description
Decorative handmade non-functional ceramic lidded jar by Peter. Handbuilt in 2021 from grey stoneware clay to an approximate 5.25-inch tall jar shape and hand-burnished before being pit-fired. The lid was thrown separately to fit the jar and burnished before being pit-fired together. The finished piece is mostly white with smokey reds, and reddish-brown lines created by copper wiring that held the jar together in the pit fire. It's an ideal gift for a ceramics collector. This item is not food safe.
