Glazed Ceramics
Glazed ceramic creations use glass-like coatings over the body of a clay object. They are fired at various temperatures in either oxidation or reduction atmosphere to give different effects. Glazed pottery may be smooth, glossy, matte, or textured with an opaque, translucent or clear finish. Many glazed pieces are functional and food safe, but always check before using. Glazes come in an incredible range of colors, and can be layered and mixed for different effects.
